Sayre Veterinary Acupuncture
Sayre Veterinary Acupuncture provides acupuncture sessions, nutritional counseling and Chinese Herbal Medicine (TCVM) in a house call setting for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and horses. We travel throughout Centre County, Pennsylvania and also make forays into Huntingdon, Blair and Clearfield Counties.
Dr. Mary Ellen Sayre graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She has worked in small animal private practice in Harrisburg and State College since graduating. In 2009 and 2010 she took and completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society certification course and has been practicing acupuncture since then. She is currently studying Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. In May 2011 Dr. Sayre started her own house call holistic veterinary practice. Her mission is to improve the quality of life to animals through integrative methods that promote the philosophy that every animal is an individual and the body has innate means of healing itself.
Dr. Sayre lives with her family, dog, 2 cats and chickens near State College, PA.
